Server redundancy and backup
We can provide backup servers for your critical web sites or applications, serving either as master and backup(s) or multiple masters.
For example, if your main site is in San Francisco, we could provide a hot backup server with a live version of all your site and data stored in a separate location that is geographically and logically diverse; say, New York.
The secondary location can then be brought up as the primary in event of any system failure.
Alternatively, our reach across several continents means we can offer a very attractive service to provide faster response to your global user base. For example, by having a local server or group of servers in each key location near your customer base you can provide higher availibility and quicker response rates.
Where we are managing servers on your behalf, we can also ensure consistent delivery or data between your different locations and reliable backup. For example, by using live, secure replication of databases between multiple data centres; and by synchronising web server and other content between locations automatically.
