Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 July 2026
Sublime IP Pty Ltd (ABN 29 068 467 667, “Sublime IP”, “we”, “us”) is an Australian company providing Internet infrastructure and intellectual property services. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we handle it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and, where it applies to clients in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, the GDPR.
What we collect
- Contact details — name, company, email address, phone number and postal address, when you enquire about or use our services.
- Account information — username, display name and authentication data (including two-factor enrolment status) if you have a client portal account.
- Billing information — invoicing details, payment references and transaction records. We do not collect or store card numbers.
- Service records — domain names, DNS records, trademark and service configuration data needed to deliver what you've engaged us for.
- Technical logs — standard web server logs (IP address, request, browser identifier) kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
We use personal information solely to deliver and support our services: managing domains, DNS and infrastructure on your behalf; operating the client portal; invoicing and receiving payment; meeting legal and accounting obligations; and communicating with you about your services. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. Our client portal sets essential cookies only: a session cookie for sign-in, a theme preference, and — if you choose “remember this device” — a two-factor device token. None are used for tracking.
Third-party services
Delivering our services involves a small number of providers acting on our instructions, including domain registries and DNS providers (such as Synergy Wholesale and Amazon Route 53), payment providers (such as Wise and Stripe) for receiving payments, and Proton Mail (Switzerland) for sending email, including account and invoice notifications. Each receives only the information needed to perform its function. Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection.
Storage and security
Our client portal and its database are hosted in the European Union (Germany), and encrypted backups are stored within the EU (Netherlands). While Sublime IP is an Australian company, our European clients are managed from within Europe: systems administration and day-to-day data processing take place in the EU. Information leaving Europe is limited to aggregated financial data required to meet Australian accounting and tax obligations.
Client data is stored on infrastructure we control. Access is limited to those who need it, protected by encryption in transit, strong authentication (including two-factor authentication), and audit logging. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we apply the same care to your data that three decades of running infrastructure has taught us to apply to our own.
Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide services and to meet legal obligations (for example, Australian tax law requires financial records to be kept for at least five years). When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it.
Your rights
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. Clients in the EEA or UK also have rights to erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or your local supervisory authority.
